Chairman's Message

We are welcoming the new year 2024 very shortly. I hope this year "2023" was better than 2022; and on behalf of our Committee, I wish everyone a "HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024".

We continue to play our part in supporting thrift and loan activities for members; almost all of whom are of South Asian origin.

The Society was founded by the pioneering leaders of the Tamil Community to lend a helping hand to those who (time to time) face short term financial needs. Members often need help in mobilising funds for education, hospitalisation and even to tide over short term adverse situations.

Overall we have succeeded in promoting the economic well being of members; and our services are relevant to the Community even today.

Like everywhere else, we could have done more. The Society hopes for a better year ahead; and for resumption of the full spectrum of thrift and Loan Activities. Meanwhile, we look forward to your support and understanding.

As this is a public forum, I have to keep my message brief. The Committee and I, look forward to seeing you at the forthcoming AGM; to be held immediately after the Pongal festivities (17.01.2024).

Once again I Wish everyone; and families; "Merry Christmas, Happy New Year 2024, and Pongal Greetings".

R. Kalaichelvan
